Keep cool this summer with my super-quick and refreshing, Yum Dip.
1/2 of a small tomato – finely chopped
1/4 cup Ranch dressing
1/3 cup Mayonnaise
Handful of Cilantro – finely chopped
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl – start with ranch, mayo, cilantro and then add in the tomato.
Enjoy with your favorite snacks. You can relish this with tortilla chips, wings or any other snacks that you want! 😋
Note: make sure to taste your ranch dressing and mayo before mixing because you may want to avoid ingredients that are more on the sour side (usually some varieties of ranch vinaigrette dressing and avocado oil mayonnaise are a little too sour). In that case, just use a regular variety of ranch and mayo.
Nobody is ever a loser if they try. If you try something then you either win or learn. The simple yet overlooked mantra for how not to be a loser is to try, learn and then keep going. There is no such thing as an unsuccessful attempt.
Want to enjoy swimming but are afraid to even dip your feet in the water? Are you are afraid of the water or do you think that people will judge you based on your body? Both of these fears are just in your mind. There are so many people across the globe who enjoy swimming and I bet none of them knew how to swim right from the moment they were born. Everyone starts at some point and then they either learn on their own or from someone else. All you need to do is to start, learn and then keep going. Even if something doesn’t work out, that doesn’t make you a loser. Take that as a learning experience and understand how to prepare yourself for an A game. Maybe you just need to do regular practice or you need some swimming lessons. You won’t be a loser if you will try. However, you will definitely lose the opportunity to live that moment, learn about your strengths and your areas of improvement if you will never try.
For the fear of people judging you based on your body, always remember that you must believe in yourself and be proud of who you are. People have the freedom to think whatsoever they want to and you can’t stop them from thinking nice or nasty about you or your body. If you will just stop yourself from enjoying swimming because of people looking at your body or their judgement of you based on your body, then you are losing to live your life for yourself. It is your body and your personal life. Only you can enjoy your life. You won’t lose anything but only your fears if you will try.

How was your week? Slow? Busy? TGIF! Like most of the people, I used to wait for the weekend to be able to relax and just be happy. However, most of the times, my weekend just flies by. Doesn’t matter what day of the week it is, now I don’t hold myself for being happy until the weekend starts or until after I am done with my weekend chores. Life as we know is busy as some kind of planned or unplanned things keep us occupied. After losing some family members who were sick, I realized that life happens every moment. To be happy, I need not wait for a perfect moment but just have a happy state of mind amidst everything. Being grateful for everything helps me to attain just that. By everything, I mean even any not-so-good experiences because such experiences help me to learn, grow and be stronger. The simplest way for me to be grateful is to be grateful for how many times I breathe and live. This realization makes me happy. The miraculous power of my heart, brain and all my organs to function in harmony with each other is what I am grateful for.
